Kari Twiss Staff Accountant
Overview
Kari specializes in individual and small business taxation, as well as bookkeeping. Kari prides herself in truly connecting with people, listening to their needs, and focusing on solutions to help them achieve the greatest tax savings possible, as well as to reach their long-term financial goals.
Kari has worked in bookkeeping and accounting for the last 30 years. She worked in Sales & Admin at Les Schwab Tire Center for 12 years before staying home to raise her family. She has also served as treasurer of her church and as treasurer of several of her kids’ sports teams. Kari is also an entrepreneur, having worked her Mary Kay business for the last 23 years. This experience allows her to provide excellent client service skills, as well as to have a great understanding of business needs in both the private and nonprofit sectors.
Kari holds a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Boise State University, as well as a certificate in Business Analytics from Boise State University. She is currently enrolled in the MSA program at Boise State, and will pursue her CPA licensure later this year.
Kari lives in Meridian with her husband, Eric, and their three children, Marisha, Ethan and Ryan. She and her family have a love for all things baseball. Her youngest son plays both high school and club baseball, and her family has hosted professional baseball players for the Boise Hawks since 2015. Kari has volunteered as Host Family Coordinator for the Boise Hawks since 2017. She is also actively involved in Owyhee High School’s Baseball Booster Club, currently serving as Secretary. When not at work, you’ll probably find her at a baseball field! Her other hobbies include traveling, gardening, and cooking.
